Sarah can wear her hair in a pony tail now. Its just long enough that we I can pull it up on the top and in the back so she has two little pony tails. It looks so much better than all in her eyes and if you can get her occupied with something in the morning you sort of have enough time to get everything pulled back. The picture shows her hair after she's wreaked havoc with it all day long, but its still up and basically cute. In this picture she has a hairbow instead of a second ponytail on top.

Cavities
Yesterday I took Adam to the dentist for his second checkup ever. He did great. Sat still for his cleaning and didn't squirm (too much) even for x-rays. He was so funny talking to the hygienists, telling them how hungry he was and that he wanted a Danimals crush cup, which would be strawberry banana, not spinach and broccoli. We were all set to head to the park, just had to wait for the xrays to come back when the nurse came out front and told us he has two cavities and will need to come in TWICE to get them filled. They won't do both in one visit. I was floored and still am. So did not plan for that. I think we can get him to go in for the first filling but I'm not thinking he'll willingly go back for the second. I think I may have to start looking around for a dentist who uses the new water laser for fillings, no need for anasthesia and can do more than one in a single visit. :(
Words are flying
I have done a very poor job of updating this blog. I basically created it and then ignored it. But I am ashamed that my kids are doing such amazing things and I'm not recording it for later. So I hereby vow to do better.
So today, I must report what Sarah said tonight as I was trying to finish my dinner, which was Thai delivery, from a recent discovery Asim just made--a restaurant nearby called Thai Thai. Finally, another delivery option. I got beef pad see euw, with broccoli. Anyway, Sarah ate her dinner, and did a good job with it as she usually does. But she eventually tired of sitting and began throwing everything on the floor. So up I got her, straight to the potty to pee (which she did, yay!) washed hands, then I sat down to finish eating. Sarah and Adam then went to playing and running around the house and actually seemed to be having a great time. All of a sudden, Sarah came running to the dining table, forces her way into my lap, saying "ont brocky", "ont brocky", grabs a piece of broccoli, shoves it into her mouth and runs away. It happened so fast i barely realized what she had just said. huh? Want broccoli? She kills me.

Adam is Three!
Here we go, post #1 to the new blog. I'm using Picasa and everything! Adam is now three and here's a picture of him and his Buzz Lightyear Cake, which he specifically requested. Mommy did not kill herself making it of course, she ordered it from Heidelberg Bakery using a downloaded image from the Internet! He liked it enough that today, when Dr. Goldman asked him what he got for his birthday, Adam said, "a Buzz Lightyear cake." He got other presents but apparently they weren't so memorable.

Here we go
I've decided to migrate our web presence to Blogger. Wonder if I'll be able to bring all the posts and pics from Windows Live over to this page? I have many other things I should be doing of course, and this will probably end up just like all those empty photo albums sitting in the t.v. cabinet, waiting to be filled. But my intentions are good. We'll see where this goes. Stay tuned....
